Scuba:
St. Lucia provides great coral sea life, magnifsantly colored corals, sponges and fish life abound in crystal clear Caribbean waters. There are no wall diving locations, a constant bottom provides very easy diving lending to an incredible diving experience for "new" divers as well as more experienced. If macro -photography is a challenge and interest, St. Lucia provides great photo opportunities with it's fabulous small "critter" population. Blennies, shrimp, jawfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, and "smaller" fish are abundant. Very few, if any, larger pelagic (sharks, rays, mantas, etc.) are to be seen. St. Lucia's sea life has been compared to Bonaire's sea-life, so if either are your favorite spots, a trip to the other will provide great enjoyment.
St. Lucia may not be the best "Scuba diving only" vacation spot, but for an all-round rest & relaxation vacation you can't go wrong with St. Lucia!!
Scuba Rating: (3 Flags)
