Cozumel’s scuba diving can be summed up in one word DRIFT-DIVING !!!

  All dive operators conduct escorted dive tours with their shipmates following the group’s bubble trails. Start with a giant stride entry, let the current push you past some of the best underwater sea life available, surface, the boat picks you up. It’s that easy. The current provides a unique diving situation, one that can be tricky, but is easily adapted to.      

  Spectacular sponges, towering spiral coral heads, shear wall dives, reef structures, and abundant fish life all await the Cozumel diver. The current produces a rich nutrient environment that enhances a wide variety of teaming Caribbean fish life. All types of fish are seen Parrot, Angel, Grouper, Wrasse, Trumpet, Trigger, etc. as well as Eels, Lobsters, Octopus, Stingrays and an occasional Nurse Shark. The current allows for awesome video opportunities.

  The dive sites are within sight of the island (30-45 minute boat ride depending if you’re on a "fast boat" charter) located on the island’s east side. A two-tank dive can be easily made before lunch, leaving the afternoon to "sun ‘n’ fun"(check out the west-side of the island for surf and beach side bars!!).

  Cozumel also provides snorkeling and diving opportunities directly off many of the hotel’s beaches.
